I recently upgraded my GPU from an RTX 3060 to an RTX 5070 (ASUS Prime 12GB OC edition), but now I'm facing a serious problem. After I installed the new GPU, my screen went completely black, and I can only see the cursor. Additionally, there's a constant red light on the GPU near the power connector that disappears when I press the power button. I'm really stuck and could use some guidance here!

First, try reseating the GPU completely to make sure it's properly connected. When connecting your monitor, ensure that you're plugged into the GPU, not the motherboard. This usually solves the issue. If it doesn't, you might need to consider exchanging the card for another one.

I actually managed to boot the system after reinstalling my old GPU and clearing the drivers for the RTX 5070. It worked for about 15-30 seconds, then the display went black again.
