I'm planning to build a PC soon with an Intel Core i5-13600K and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, and I've got a micro ATX case. I'm a bit lost on which motherboard to choose. I've been eyeing the GIGABYTE B860M AORUS Elite mainly because I love its aesthetic—it fits my white and silver theme. I'd consider a black motherboard if it's the best option, but honestly, I could use some guidance since I'm not very knowledgeable about PC components. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Why did you choose the 13600K over, say, a Ryzen 7600 or 9600X? The 13th and 14th generation Intel CPUs have some major issues with overheating. They've got some patches, but it hasn't really been fully resolved yet.
The B860M is meant for the new Core Ultra CPUs. For your setup, you should really be looking at either the B660M or the B760M to make sure everything works well together.
Like I said, I'm a dummy when it comes to this stuff. Thanks for the heads-up!
Is your country listed on PCPartPicker? That site can help a lot! What’s your total budget? Also, do you already have the CPU and GPU, or do they need to be included in the budget along with a monitor and peripherals? Making a list there can help ensure everything is compatible, especially for someone who calls themselves a 'PC component dummy.'
Exactly! It’s super useful for checking compatibility among parts.
Good question! I’ve noticed more people going with AMD lately, and it makes sense. Just a lot of facts I still need to catch up on. So you think I should switch to the 9600X?
