Help! Steam Shows Extra 100GB Usage I Can’t Identify

I'm trying to figure out why Steam is reporting around 100GB of data that I'm unable to locate on my PC. Here's what I know: Windows indicates I have 315GB of non-Steam files downloaded, and 115GB of that is allocated to Fortnite. I've heard that around 80GB is likely being used by my operating system. That leaves me puzzled about where the remaining space is being used. I've already cleared out most of the mods via Vortex and attempted some disk cleaning, including deleting temporary files, but I still can't find the source of this data. I'm a bit of a newbie with computers, so I'm not sure how to track down specific apps or files. My system runs Windows 11, version 25H2, with an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X processor and a 64-bit OS.

You might want to try using WizTree, a tool that helps you visualize what's taking up space on your drive. It can show you where those extra gigs are coming from, which can be really helpful. Just be cautious about deleting anything—make sure you know which programs the files belong to, or uninstall them properly instead.

Don't jump straight to deleting files without knowing what they are. It's generally safer to find out what program they're related to. Keeping track of your data before making major changes can save you a lot of headaches.
