Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a pickle with my self-built PC. After updating the BIOS to fix some compatibility issues, I now can't get past the TUF logo screen. Before the update, I did confirm that BitLocker was disabled as required. Everything seemed fine during the update, but then I encountered multiple booting issues. My system is stuck at the graphics card stage, indicated by a white LED on my motherboard. I've tried clearing the CMOS in various ways, but nothing seems to work. When I finally got past that stage, I ended up at the BIOS screen, but now my keyboard isn't responding when I try to press Del or F2 to enter BIOS settings. I've attempted reflashing the BIOS and even used different USB ports for my keyboard, but I'm still stuck. I'm contemplating purchasing a PS/2 keyboard to avoid USB issues. Can anyone help me troubleshoot what might be going wrong? Here are my specs: ASUS TUF GAMING B550M-Plus, AMD Ryzen 5 5500, Sapphire Pulse RX 6600, 500GB SSD, and G.Skill Ripjaws V RAM. Hoping you all can help!

Make sure you're hitting the right keys! Sometimes, brands use different keys for BIOS access. Also, if your keyboard has multiple modes, ensure it's set to wired mode when connected. It’s a hassle, but I’d suggest also testing another keyboard, ideally a basic one without additional features, just to see if that helps. You never know!
You might want to try booting without your GPU if your motherboard has integrated graphics. If that works, it could help you get into the OS and troubleshoot from there.
Unfortunately, my motherboard doesn't have integrated graphics, so I'm stuck with my GPU for now.
I think your best bet is to clear the BIOS again, but make sure to completely unplug the power supply and hold the power button for about 10 seconds to fully discharge. Sometimes that helps reset any lingering settings. Also, check your motherboard manual for any special keys to reset settings; some boards have a specific key combo that works better than jumping the pins. Good luck!
Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely try that. I didn't realize unplugging everything was that important for a full reset.

I’ve tried a couple but no luck yet! I might need to get a really basic wired one to rule that out.
