I'm in the process of upgrading my computer by switching from a hard drive to an SSD. I cloned my HDD onto the SSD and set the SSD as my main boot drive while using the HDD as a backup. However, when I try to boot up, I only get a black screen with my cursor. Does anyone have any ideas about what's going wrong?

It sounds like there might be an issue with the cloning process. Make sure you used a proper cloning tool, like Macrium Reflect Free or EaseUS. If you just copied files, that won't work for booting. Double-check that you indeed cloned the HDD and not just moved files around.
Yeah, I did mean to say I cloned it! But I'm still stuck with this black screen. Any other suggestions?
