I've been having a frustrating issue with Valorant on my ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 laptop lately. Here are my specs: Intel i7, 32 GB RAM, two SSDs (1 TB and 500 GB), and an NVIDIA RTX 4060. About a month and a half ago, I noticed that while my GPU is running fine at around 8000 MHz, my CPU is stuck at just 200 MHz. This issue causes the game to lag horribly at just 10 FPS, and I even experience major stuttering. I found a temporary workaround where switching to another window and back boosts the FPS for a bit, but the problem persists. I've tried reinstalling GPU drivers, updating BIOS, running thermal tests, and even formatted my laptop, but nothing seems to make a lasting difference. I've set the power plan to High Performance, tried installing Valorant on another SSD, and scanned for viruses, but I'm still stuck. I'm hoping someone out there can give me some insight or suggestions before I take it to a technician!

Have you thought about rolling back to some older GPU drivers? Sometimes the latest updates can cause issues with certain games. Just uninstall the current drivers and install a previous version that worked for you. It might help if your problems started after a recent update!
No, how would I do that?
