I'm putting together a gaming PC for my girlfriend with a budget of 1100€. The goal is to make it great for 1080p gaming, mainly for visual novels, co-op games, puzzle games, and an occasional FPS or older titles. She specifically wants a white mesh case, which I've included in the budget.
I have a couple of questions:
1. Is it necessary to use CL16 RAM for this build?
2. I'm considering if I can save some money on the power supply. What are some good options that would still fit into a B-tier category?
Thanks for any advice! Here's my current part list: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GyzzMF)

I think the CPU you're picking is solid as it is. You won't save much by switching it, maybe just around 10€. But overall, it looks good! I'm sure she'll love it!
Just curious, which country are you ordering from? I think you might be able to get an AM5 setup within that budget. If you're ordering from Germany, why is your list in US dollars instead of Euros? Here’s my take on components with prices that keep you under budget and avoid things like QLC SSDs: [PCPartPicker List](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/XvWnn2).
You can definitely save on the PSU! I’d recommend this one: [Seasonic Core GX 650W](https://geizhals.de/seasonic-core-gx-white-atx-3-2024-gx-650-650w-atx-3-1-srp-cgx651-a5a32sf-w-a3454810.html). For the RAM, CL18 is sufficient. Only go for CL16 if the price difference isn't too much.

I usually go through German retailers because they offer better pricing. Thanks for the list! I didn’t realize I could use different currencies for the parts.
