Help with BIOS Settings for MSI 870 Tomahawk Wifi and NVMe SSDs

I'm working on my first PC build using the MSI 870 Tomahawk Wifi motherboard, and I've got two NVMe Gen 4 WD Black SSDs installed—one in M.2 slot 1 and the other in slot 4. I'm trying to manually change the settings from 'auto' to Gen 4 in the BIOS to ensure the SSDs can run at full speed. While I can see both drives recognized in the BIOS, I can only find settings for M.2_1, and I can't seem to find any option for slot 4. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You should be fine leaving it on 'auto'—the motherboard generally knows how to handle that. Many modern motherboards will automatically set the right speed for your SSDs, so they should be running at Gen 4 speeds without you needing to change anything.

I get that, but I watched some PC builders on YouTube who mentioned that leaving it on auto might throttle the speed. They recommended setting it to Gen 4 manually. Just trying to make sure I'm getting the most out of my build!
