Hey everyone, I've noticed a pretty annoying crackling sound coming from the right speaker of my Samsung 4K smart TV. This happens when I'm using the TV's built-in apps like YouTube or Foxtel and the volume goes up, the crackling gets worse. However, there's no sound issue when I connect devices via HDMI, like my computer or Nintendo Switch. I'm guessing this means the speaker itself isn't faulty? Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this issue or how to fix it? I was considering getting a soundbar, but I'm not sure if that would solve the problem since it seems related to the TV's audio processing. Appreciate any suggestions!

It sounds like you might be dealing with a software issue on the TV rather than a hardware problem. Have you tried resetting the audio settings or checking if there are any software updates for your TV? Sometimes, just refreshing the firmware can clear up these types of glitches.
Another thing to try is adjusting the audio format settings in the TV menu. If it's set to something like ‘Auto’ or ‘Dolby’, that could be affecting the output. Switching to PCM might help reduce the crackling sound.
Yeah, try changing that and see if it improves! It could be a simple fix.
I haven’t done a full reset yet. I’ll give that a try and check for updates, thanks!
