I've been experiencing some really frustrating issues with my PC lately. About two days ago, it started crashing because there wasn't enough memory available. When I checked the system, I noticed that both the paged and non-paged pools were climbing, while my compressed memory was stuck around 14.5 to 16 GB, even when I had no applications open. The Task Manager shows the paged pool at a whopping 47 GB and the non-paged pool at 7.9 GB, which doesn't quite match what rammaps reports—8.2 GB in non-paged and 2 GB in paged. What could be causing this?

Yeah, I do have 16 gigs installed, but it seems like something's really off with the memory pool numbers.
It sounds like your system might be struggling with memory management. Have you checked how much RAM you have installed? It could just be that your 16 GB isn't enough for the tasks you're trying to perform, especially if you're running memory-intensive applications. It might help to monitor your memory usage over time to see if there's a particular program that's causing the spike.
Those numbers definitely seem concerning. You might want to check for any background processes that could be using up memory unnecessarily. Sometimes malware can also cause high memory usage. Have you run a full system scan recently? It could reveal some unwanted programs hogging your resources.
