I'm having trouble with my Ryzen 5 5600T overheating. Just a week after buying it along with an Asus Prime B550M-K motherboard, the CPU temperature spikes to 92°C and sometimes over 95°C during gaming, causing my PC to shut down. When idle, it stays between 50°C and 65°C. I only noticed the temperature in the 70°C to 76°C range once while gaming. I'm currently using the stock cooler, which is installed correctly, and my BIOS settings are at their default with the latest version. Initially, my CPU reached 4.5 GHz with moderate usage while gaming, but now it barely hits 4.3 GHz. Any advice on how to fix this?

First off, you might want to double-check what cooler you're using. Since you're on the stock cooler, that might not be sufficient. If you had an AIO, I'd suggest making sure the pump header is set to 100% in the BIOS to keep cooling efficient. But with stock, it's really time to invest in a decent air cooler. Those temps are too high!

Totally agree! Also, you should check if the thermal paste is properly applied. Make sure any plastic covering on the cooler is removed too. That could definitely cause overheating.
