Hey everyone! I'm building my first PC and trying to upgrade from an old system. I'm a total beginner, and being in Australia means I have limited options and it's pretty hot here. Here's what I'm planning to order:
**New parts:**
- CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- Motherboard: MSI B650M Gaming Plus WiFi (mATX, AM5)
- RAM: BIWIN Black Opal DDR5-6000 32GB (2x16, dimensions: 136.19 x 50.24 x 8.40 mm)
- PSU: ADATA XPG Core Reactor II 850W Gold
**Current setup:**
- GPU: Gigabyte RX 9070 Gaming OC
- Case: Silverstone FARA R1
- Storage: Kingston KC2500 1TB NVMe
- RAM: Same as above
- PSU: Same as above
**Old cooler:**
Deepcool GAMMAXX 400 XT — I doubt this will handle the heat from the 7800X3D.
**Coolers I'm considering:**
- Deepcool AK400
- Thermalright Assassin Spirit 120 V2 Plus
- Noctua NH-U12S redux
- Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
- **Thermalright AXP90-X47 (low-profile)** — will this one keep the 7800X3D cool enough?
Can anyone help me figure out which coolers would work best for my setup, especially regarding RAM height? I need a solution that is efficient and easy to install, and I'm really close to my budget limit. Thanks!

The 7800X3D is definitely air-coolable, and the Thermalright Assassin should work fine for you. It's a good choice and has a solid price-to-performance ratio. Also, I noticed Thermalright has NVMe heatsinks with fans, which helped me drop my M.2 temp significantly. You might want to check those out too!

Thanks, but did you catch my concern about the RAM height?
