I'm having trouble installing Ubuntu on my SSD, as the installer often fails with a message saying, 'Something went wrong.' I have Windows installed on a separate drive. Here's what I've done so far to troubleshoot: I've set my BIOS to UEFI mode and disabled Fast Boot. I've performed a Secure Erase on the SSD, ensured it's completely unallocated, and I've attempted both disk erasure and manual partitioning (including EFI, root, swap, and home). I also set the bootloader to the SSD where Ubuntu is to be installed. Does anyone have experience with this, especially regarding NVMe drives? Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

It could help to boot in safe graphics mode and attempt the installation again. I had a similar issue, but after flashing the USB drive using BalenaEtcher and booting into safe graphics, it worked for me. It's possible that using Ventoy to flash the USB didn't work correctly or that normal booting was causing the problem.
Are you trying to install version 25.10? If so, I’d recommend trying version 22.04 instead as it might be more stable for your setup.
