Hey everyone, I've been facing some serious issues with my new PC lately, and I'm not sure how to fix them. It all started after I performed an update and then mistakenly restarted the computer by pressing the case button. This caused a blue screen with a logtrail error. Following that incident, my Kaspersky antivirus flagged some corrupted files on my system. Recently, when I powered on the PC, it restarted automatically just seconds after starting, even though I didn't have any heavy programs running. I checked the event viewer and saw a lot of errors, including a critical one related to kernel power. I'm really unsure about what all this means and how to resolve it. Can someone assist me with these event viewer errors?

First things first, it sounds like you might need to check for any dump files which could help diagnose those BSODs. If you can boot into Windows normally or through Safe Mode, navigate to C:WindowsMinidump and look for any dump files there. If you find some, zip them up and upload them to a file sharing site like Mediafire or Catbox.moe, as Reddit doesn't allow certain file hosts.
I recommend using the Windows repair utility to see if that helps with your problems. If that doesn't do the trick, consider running a memory test like Memtest86 to check for any RAM issues. It's important to identify if there's a hardware problem under the hood.
But this is concerning, right? I mean, the kernel errors and those random restarts seem to indicate something serious, especially since it started with just one corrupted program. Shouldn't I be worried?
