Hey everyone, I've been facing a peculiar issue with my laptop over the past couple of months. When I switch it on, I reach the login screen, but the system freezes for a moment, the screen flickers, and then the display brightness dims. I've checked the event viewer and noticed I'm getting the nvlddm error 153 twice, followed by a warning about the display driver (nvlddmkm) not responding, even though it eventually recovers. I've already tried reinstalling Windows and using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) for clean driver installs. This issue only occurs during startup, and I haven't experienced any crashes while gaming, so it's really confusing. If anyone has any insights or potential solutions, I'd really appreciate it!

Have you checked if the fast startup feature is enabled in your power plan settings? Sometimes that can cause issues with certain drivers.
I actually turned that off after posting, but I'm still experiencing the same problem.
