Help with PCIe to NVMe Installation Issues

I've got a setup with five drives: a 250GB SSD as my C: drive, a 4TB HDD, a 2TB SSD, and three 2TB NVMe drives (Hynix Platinum and Crucial P5 Plus). I recently bought a PCIe to NVMe adapter to upgrade my 250GB SSD to a 1TB NVMe (the WD_BLACK), but after installing it, I don't see the new drive anywhere. I'm not sure if I did something wrong or if my motherboard doesn't support this upgrade. My specs are Ryzen 9 5900X CPU, Nvidia 3080 GPU, and MSI MPG B550 motherboard. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Check your motherboard's documentation for the specific model. Sometimes, certain PCIe slots are disabled when using the lower M.2 slots, which could be causing your NVMe not to show up. Make sure you're using the right slot for your PCIe adapter and that it's properly seated.

I looked at the manual, but it’s a bit confusing. Do you have any tips for finding the right specs?
