Hi everyone! I'm a one-man IT team at a company that has never had in-house IT support, just someone who has been working remotely for about a decade. Recently, I've replaced the smart battery in our ProLiant DL380 Gen9 server. Although it's recognized the new battery with a new identification number, it still shows as degraded in both PRTG and iLO. I've been advised to give it some time, but no improvements have occurred so far. Any suggestions on how to resolve this? Thanks in advance!

As a side note, if resetting iLO doesn't solve the issue, consider updating it. The version appears outdated from the screenshots I saw.
You should check your iLO logs and clear any errors listed there. Sometimes, simply deleting the errors can resolve the degraded status of the battery.
That battery might be dead on arrival. You can check your iLO logs for specific errors; those can give you more insight into what might be wrong.
The log shows a failure code that occurred before I changed the battery. It mentioned something about contacting HP support if the problem persists.
Sometimes the iLO gets stuck. Try resetting it, but make sure it's the reset under diagnostics—not a full factory reset.
Is this the reset option shown in the diagnostic section?

Just tried this. I'll let you know if that fixes the issue!
