Hey everyone! I'm having a really tough time trying to transfer everything from my iPhone 15 Plus to my new iPhone 16 Plus. I've been working on this for almost a day now (stayed up until 11:30 PM trying!) and I've had zero luck. I'm wondering if there's a way to do this using a cable, or any method that doesn't involve iCloud or backing up to a laptop. Thanks for any help!

Sounds like a skill issue to me, maybe double-check your setup!
I always use an encrypted Finder backup when setting up new iPhones, and it's worked without issues. Just ensure both devices have the latest iOS updates and are on the same reliable Wi-Fi network with a strong signal. If you’re looking to restore via iCloud, your new phone should be on the same iOS version or newer than the one you used for the backup.
Seems like there’s a lot you're not sharing about your setup, OP. It could be important!
If you place both phones side by side, they should transfer data automatically. Give that a shot!
You can definitely use a cable for the transfer. Check out this support article for the steps: [Apple Support](https://support.apple.com/en-us/117383?device-type=iphone). If you’re okay with it, backing up to a computer or iCloud is also an option. Just make sure to restore that backup on your new iPhone afterwards.

I tried that already, but it still didn’t work for me.
