Help with Random Black Screens and Restarts on My New PC

I've been dealing with random black screens and restarts on my custom-built PC since I bought it just before Christmas. According to the event viewer, it shows a critical kernel power error. I noticed that my system might be overclocked since it's set to EXPO II in the BIOS. I'm not very experienced with BIOS settings, so I'm not sure if it's okay to switch to manual or auto settings to see if that helps. My CPU base speed is supposed to be 4200MHz, but Task Manager shows it fluctuating above 5000MHz. Ideally, I'd like to disable any overclocking completely. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

When does the problem actually occur? I’m dealing with similar issues—black screens and restarts with almost the same setup, just a different graphics card (RTX 5090). It’s frustrating!

It could be a faulty power supply or an unstable overclock. I'd recommend resetting your BIOS to default settings and running everything at stock settings to see if that fixes the issue.

Yes, it’s safe to remove the overclock. However, I doubt that’s the sole cause of your issues since you’re using EXPO II. You might want to switch it to auto or set it to a stable 4800MHz, and disable Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) as well.
