I'm having a rough time with my desktop PC. I recently started getting the UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (7f) error, which is causing my computer to reboot unexpectedly. Here are the specs:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite AX Rev 1.2
- **GPU:** Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 7900 XTX Vapor X
- **RAM:** Corsair VENGEANCE 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 DRAM 6000MT/s CL30
- **SSD:** Samsung 990 Pro 2TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 NVMe SSD
- **OS:** Windows 11 Home 10.0.26200 Build 26200
The issue started after I installed Windows 11 Preview Updates KB:5067036 and KB:5067931 on October 28, 2025. After these updates, my PC would reboot with the bugcheck error every time it would go to sleep after about 5 minutes. I also noticed black screen crashes when starting games or streaming on Discord.
I've tried reinstalling Windows, reflashing the BIOS, and updating all drivers, but the issue continues. I ran "mdsched.exe" and "chkdsk C: /f /r" and found no issues with the RAM or SSD. I also have a monitor, the Asus ROG PG27AQDP, that sometimes glitches, showing rainbow static when starting up or waking from sleep. I have to plug it out and in, or toggle HDR settings to fix it temporarily.
Any insights or assistance would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you're dealing with some serious error issues! The '0x8' in your parameters usually points to a double fault, which means your system is encountering another error while still trying to handle a previous one. This often points to hardware problems. It could be related to your AMD GPU or potentially even your RAM. Make sure you haven't overclocked your RAM beyond what your CPU can handle. Since the Ryzen 7 supports up to DDR5-5200 for two sticks, you might want to try dialing down the RAM speed to see if that helps.
Also, consider doing a clean reinstall of your GPU drivers or reseating your graphics card and its power connectors. Sometimes just a little wiggle can get things back in order!

You mentioned that the problem persists even at the default RAM speed of 4800Hz. What about updating the GPU drivers? Sometimes, a clean reinstall helps clear up issues. Did you do that with the latest AMD Adrenalin software after your Windows installation? And after reformatting your SSD, are there any lingering settings from the previous setup that could cause problems?
