I'm looking to learn how to code, particularly in Python, but I only have access to my phone right now. I'm considering installing some coding apps, but I'm curious if anyone thinks they're effective and worthwhile for learning. Any recommendations?

You can start learning by reading and understanding concepts even before you get a keyboard. It could help pave the way for when you do get more tools to work with.
Believe it or not, I code on my Nintendo Wii! So yeah, it's totally possible to get creative with how you learn, but again, a laptop might make things easier in the long run.
I actually do some coding on my phone using GitHub Codespaces, which is like having VSCode in your browser. It's a little tricky, but it works with a decent setup like using DeX on a Samsung. So, yes, it can be done!
Just a heads up, a lot of programming involves concepts beyond just writing code. If you can, try to save up for a cheap laptop—there are some available for under $100! It could really enhance your learning experience.
You can definitely learn Python on your phone! There are a few apps that can help with that, like Pydroid3, Termux, Dcoder, and a-Shell. Just keep in mind that while it's possible, it might not be as smooth as coding on a laptop.

That's cool! I guess having a good external setup can make it easier.
