Hey L&D folks and anyone involved in corporate training, I'm curious about how you're approaching AI training for your teams. There's so much hype around AI, but what strategies do you use to actually equip your employees with practical skills? I'm finding it challenging to locate a comprehensive training program that caters to our tech teams, like those focused on machine learning and data science, while also being accessible for non-tech roles, such as marketing or finance with generative AI. After a lot of searching, I came across a program that seems to strike the right balance for us. It's important to me that the training goes beyond just tools and focuses on how AI can really improve workflows. Have any of you figured out a great way to get everyone in the company up to speed with AI? I'd love to hear about your biggest challenges and successes!

It's all about understanding what you want to learn first. Sure, you can ask AI anything, but you have to keep a critical mindset about its responses. Don't treat the code it generates like it's gospel—think of it as something that needs refining. A lot of folks are talking about 'Prompt Engineering' as a key skill to pick up!
Haha, I love that! Training starts promptly at 8 a.m—just type in your question and forgo the rest of your work, right?
I feel your pain! It's like every sales rep these days has an AI pitch to throw at you. But honestly, are any of these solutions really helpful for L&D folks? What’s actually useful out there?
Exactly! We need practical solutions, not just pitches. Would love to hear about any real experiences!
Make sure you have solid criteria before diving into a program. Not all of them hit the mark.
I noticed you found a program that works for multiple levels—sounds great! But it's not easy for everyone to get on board with that. Some roles just have a harder time adapting to these new tools.
For us, it’s pretty much just a license and we hope for the best! IT mainly utilizes it for meeting records and support responses. We're still working on a way to implement a bot that can navigate through chats and knowledge bases for quick solutions. The biggest challenge is managing our own data and avoiding the high costs for third-party AI systems that can limit what we access.
Totally agree! Knowing how to ask the right questions can change everything.
