I often receive QR codes sent via email for tasks like surveys or RSVPs, particularly at work. These codes usually appear on attached flyers rather than as separate images. Is there a way for me to access the link from a QR code directly on my work computer, without using a camera?

You can right-click the QR code image, copy it, and then go to Google. Select "Search by Image" (the camera icon in the search bar) and paste the image there.
Just take a screenshot and try an online QR decoder. If you're feeling a bit techy, you could even download a desktop QR reader app. Your work computer likely won't magically get a camera, but there are definitely ways around it!
Absolutely! You don’t need a camera at all to access the QR code. If the code is in a PDF or image, you can:
1. **Screenshot the QR code** (use Win+Shift+S on Windows or Cmd+Shift+4 on Mac).
2. **Right-click the image** in browsers like Chrome or Edge, and select *Search image with Google Lens* or *Bing Visual Search* to extract the link.
3. Alternatively, you can upload the screenshot to a QR decoder website to retrieve the URL.
Some PDF readers let you click on the QR code directly if it recognizes it as a link. Just be sure to preview any URL before opening it, especially for work-related emails.
On iPhone, if you long press the QR code, you should see an option to open the link directly from there.
I just spotted a tool in a Firefox forum that lets you hover over a QR code for the link directly.

Thanks for the tips! I managed to get it working with Google Lens, but Bing Visual Search didn't work for me either.
