I'm struggling to get into the BIOS on my old HP computer. The HP website mentions a "BIOS key," but I can't find one on any of my 15 keyboards! I've always used the DEL key to access BIOS, but that doesn't seem to work here. This computer resembles a Pavilion 550-A114 model, but it's using Intel. To make matters worse, I can't even power it down normally; it's stuck in a proprietary setup without power options. I've tried keys like F2, F10, ESC, and DEL, but nothing has worked so far. Any suggestions?

On some older HP models, the BIOS key might be F8 or F9. Give those a shot and see if you can get in!
Honestly, I've been in the computer game since '97, and I've never seen a keyboard with a specific BIOS key. Most PCs use keys like F1, F2, ESC, DEL, F10, or F11. It really varies, so it's a bit of a mix-and-match approach!

Yeah, it's strange! My computer jumps straight to this proprietary HP setup as soon as I turn it on, like it's turbo-booting or something. I suspect Fast Boot settings might be interfering. I'll keep trying!
