I recently upgraded to a Fractal North case, but I didn't realize my Asus TUF X570 Plus Wi-Fi motherboard doesn't have a header for USB 3.1 Gen 2. Is there an cost-effective way to get an internal header using a PCIe slot? Additionally, I'm interested in picking up a PSVR2 adapter and might need a PCIe expansion slot for a Bluetooth adapter if the controllers aren't working well with my onboard Bluetooth. Can I use both an 8-lane card and a different card in the PCIe slots simultaneously?

You can definitely use a PCIe card to add USB 3.1 support. Your X570 board has multiple slots, including two 16x and some 4x, so you should have enough space for both a USB 3.1 Gen 2 header and your Bluetooth adapter. Oh, and just a heads-up, you do have a USB 3.2 header labeled as #17 on your board. It’s a 19-pin connector, though, so make sure you have the right type for the USB-C port you want to connect.
You can use both the 16-lane and 8-lane slots at the same time for different cards. Just make sure that your motherboard supports running them concurrently, which it should. As for adding the USB header, look for a PCIe card that provides USB 3.1 Gen 2 headers; they’re pretty common and shouldn’t break the bank!
