Hey everyone! I recently moved and now I can't get a wired connection to my router. I have an Asus Prime B450M-A II DDR4 Micro ATX motherboard, and I'm just a complete newbie when it comes to this stuff. I'm trying to figure out how to add a WiFi card, but I'm not sure where to put it. The cards I see for sale have a metal strip that looks like it fits in the external slots on the left side of my setup in this photo: [https://imgur.com/a/wcNbuau](https://imgur.com/a/wcNbuau). I really hope someone can guide me through this!

There are two x1 PCIe slots right below your GPU for the WiFi card. Just pick one of those to install it.
Honestly, just go for a USB WiFi dongle. They’re super easy to use and set up!
You might run into space issues with a PCIe WiFi card based on the picture you provided, so a USB option might be more practical. They’re not as powerful, but they should still get the job done!
okay, thank you
You can use the PCIe x1 slot on your motherboard to add a WiFi card. On your board, there's actually one slot just beneath the GPU; it's pretty small but perfect for this. I use a Gigabyte GC-WBAX210 WiFi card (WiFi 6E) in another PC, and it works great! If you're concerned about space, USB WiFi dongles are also a convenient alternative, especially if your GPU shroud is large and might block a WiFi card under it.
Do you mean under here? [https://imgur.com/a/AklHZ88](https://imgur.com/a/AklHZ88)
