I'm a dad of three boys, and during the cold winter months, I have to park my car outside. Getting the car warmed up and defrosting the windows takes time, especially since my kids go to school at different times. I thought by now, 2025, I could find a car that's equipped to automatically defrost itself at a set time, but it turns out that's not the case. I'm looking to create a solution that lets me defrost my car from the inside. Is there a way to use a little heater plugged into a timer and a battery to heat my car, so my boys and I don't have to wake up early to do it ourselves? What are a few products I can use to achieve this, even if I need to charge them afterward?

If it's an option, consider just getting a place with a garage! But I get that not everyone can do that.
It might be easier to just throw a sheet or towel over your windshield overnight. But if you want something more high-tech, you could try using a reptile heater; they're pretty effective!
Does your car have a remote start feature? That way, you could start the car and get the heat going before you even step outside!

Yeah, because I totally have $450,000 lying around for a new house with a garage instead of looking for a simple solution.
