I'm approaching my 30s and just diving into learning Python. It feels overwhelming with so much information to absorb, and I know hands-on practice is crucial. I'm curious about how others manage their time. How many hours do you usually dedicate to programming or studying each day? I've heard stories of people in computer science sacrificing their personal lives for studies, and I want to ensure I build a career that lets me enjoy life too.

I find I can only focus for about 45 minutes before needing a break. I see life outside of learning as essential for mental and physical health: exercise, proper meals, hydration, and time with friends and family are all crucial. It helps prevent burnout and keeps me motivated.

I usually study between 3-8 hours daily, depending on whether I’m working on a project or not. But honestly, the exact hours don’t matter as much as being consistent. If you can only dedicate 30 minutes a day, make that time count! It’s about practicing consistently rather than just racking up hours. Many people might spend 3 hours on tutorials, but quicker, effective practice is key to actually learning.

If you want to save time, consider remote work. It can potentially free up a couple of hours a day you'd spend commuting, which you could reinvest in learning.
