Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a really serious situation here. After I made a comment about a podcaster, I've been getting constant harassment over the phone. Several people, both men and women, have been calling me from different numbers—often private—telling me awful things and threatening my safety. I've reported this to the police, but they dismissed it as a waste of time and suggested that I change my number. I did, but now I've got strange cars parked outside my house taking pictures, and they even contacted my husband's workplace falsely accusing him of terrible things. I'm at a loss and really need help. Is there a way to identify who's calling me from private numbers? Is there any app I can download for my Android that can effectively block these calls?

Hey! You didn't mention what type of phone you have, but don’t worry, there are definitely ways to block those private calls. Many Android phones have built-in options within the phone app to block unknown or private numbers. You can also look into third-party apps that specialize in call blocking, though they may have mixed success.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S23. I tried using an app called TrapCall, but it seems like they're still getting through. I really don’t know how they managed to contact me again after I changed my number.
