Hey everyone! I'm new here and looking for some advice. I usually play Valorant and get around 180-230 FPS, but during heated moments, it can drop to about 160. It's playable, but since I have a 240Hz monitor, I'd love to consistently hit 240+ FPS to make the most of it. Do you think upgrading my CPU would help me achieve those stable frame rates, or could something else be causing the drops? Here are my current specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super, Mainboard: B450-A PRO MAX, and I have 64GB of RAM. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

When your FPS drops, check your GPU utilization. If it's hitting near 100%, then you're looking at needing a GPU upgrade. But if it's under 90%, your CPU might be the bottleneck here.

Valorant is super CPU-heavy, so it's unlikely your 2070 is being fully utilized. A CPU upgrade could definitely help!
