I'm really frustrated with trying to cancel my Apple TV free trial. I thought I could do it myself, but when I go to manage subscriptions on Google Play, it's not showing up anywhere. I checked my iCloud account, and it says I need to cancel through Google Play, but it doesn't appear there either. I also tried reaching out to chat support, but the agent mentioned that free trials don't show up, only actual subscriptions. So, does that mean I have to contact support to cancel it? What happens if I forget to cancel it during the trial? Will I just start getting charged every month without being able to see it? I really need help figuring this out without having to talk on the phone again! Just to clarify, I know I subscribed via Apple TV, but my account indicates it was through Google Play. Why is it so complicated?

I found a useful link that may help you out. Check out this guidance for cancelling your Apple TV subscription via Google Play: https://support.google.com/googleplay/workflow/9827184. This should guide you through the cancellation process directly!
Just to clarify, Apple can assist with cancellations, but they don’t handle the billing if you subscribed via Google. Only Google can cancel the ongoing billing, even if Apple provided the service.
It sounds like this might be more of a Google issue than an Apple one. Since you subscribed through Google Play, cancellation needs to happen there. Have you reached out to Google support about this? They should be able to assist with any subscription visibility issues you’re having.
Absolutely, you have to cancel subscriptions where you subscribed. If it’s through Google Play, then unfortunately, Apple can't manage those for you. But you should be able to see it in Google Play if it was activated there. It won’t stop working until your trial ends, just make sure to cancel before it charges you the monthly fee!
But that's the issue! It doesn't show anywhere in Google Play, and I’m worried I'd get charged if I don't catch it in time.

I get that, but the support staff at Apple were able to cancel it on their end, which is confusing. There has to be some method for me to do it myself as well, right?
