I'm trying to figure out how to center widgets on my KDE Plasma desktop, but I can't find any built-in functions like grids or magnets that would help with alignment. I've been using spacers, but it feels a bit tedious. Is there a reason this feature isn't implemented, and how challenging would it be to achieve it? I've heard there might have been a grid feature in earlier versions of Plasma.

I know some users have had success with customizing their workspace in other ways, but large corporations like Apple and Microsoft probably invest way more resources into features like this, which can make it look like magic! It's frustrating, but it seems to be the reality.

Honestly, I don't use widgets much myself, so I can't offer much on aligning them. But I've heard others suggest just centering the panel if that's what you're referring to.
