I recently upgraded my PC, transferring my HDD and M.2 drive to a new system. However, now when I reach the login screen, I see a message saying that my "PIN is no longer available due to a change in security settings". It prompts me to connect to the internet to change the PIN, but I'm currently offline, and neither my ethernet nor Wi-Fi is working. I read that I can disable the PIN through the advanced boot options (by pressing shift+restart), but my mouse and keyboard don't function there. I'm also considering temporarily putting the M.2 drive back into my old system to disable the PIN and then reinstalling it in the new setup. Is that a good idea? Any other solutions would be appreciated!

If you set a password initially, you might be able to bypass the PIN issue by clicking on the option for signing in with a password instead. Look for a "Sign in options" link at the login screen. If you can remember your password, try entering that instead, and once logged in, you can set a new PIN if you wish. Just a suggestion!

Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately, I don't see a "sign in options" link on my screen.
