A few months ago, I accidentally spilled some sugary drinks near my Corsair K100 RGB keyboard. Recently, my 'T' key and the right alt key have started feeling really sticky and sometimes even get stuck when pressed. I initially spilled a little ginger ale on the 'T' key and some chocolate milk near the right alt key. It's not the keycaps that are sticky, but the switches underneath. I've tried using glasses-cleaning liquid on the switches, which helps for a short time, but they eventually get sticky again. I'm looking for advice on how to fix this. Can I remove and clean these switches, or is there another way to make them permanently un-sticky? Is silicone spray a good idea for cleaning these switches?

To really clean your OPX switches, you'll probably need to open them up or wash them out. The cleaner you used might be just dissolving the sugar temporarily, not doing a full job of getting it out of the switch housing.
I hear you! But just to clarify, how do you even go about this? I've seen mixed advice online about taking switches apart. Can you do that without disassembling the whole keyboard?
