I installed a bunch of unnecessary software from gcc and now my PC's performance is suffering. What's the best way to uninstall these programs and restore my system to how it used to be? I have some pictures of what I've installed, but I can't share them here. If there's a way to chat about it, let me know!

You can start by going to the Add/Remove Programs feature and uninstall the stuff you don't need. This should help clean things up a bit. If it's still slow afterwards, you might consider a clean install of Windows for a fresh start.
Do you think just removing the programs will really do the trick? A coworker mentioned I might need to tweak some BIOS settings and clear my cache too.
