I have an ex-friend who believes I hacked her phone. She claims that a random Linux laptop connected to her Google account is mine since I use Linux. However, she has an Android phone and seems to think I am the one responsible for this connection. Unfortunately, she's not very open to reasoning, and now she's threatening to go to the police. I want to know how I can prove that I'm innocent in this situation.

You really can’t prove a negative. If she wants to go to the police, let her. The chances are the police won’t take her seriously anyway. Just ignore her antics and don’t engage anymore.
Look, you can’t reason with someone who’s convinced they’re a victim. She really needs a reality check, and if she does go the police route, they’ll probably laugh this off without any concrete evidence. Just block her and take care of yourself.
Honestly, if someone believes you'd do something like that, they aren’t really a friend. It sounds like you deserve better than to have someone in your life who thinks so little of you. Just focus on moving on instead of trying to prove anything to her.
Tell her to disconnect that Linux machine from her account and change her password. If something is hijacked, it’s on her to sort it out, not you. Plus, a quick chat with the police might just clear all this nonsense up.
If this laptop isn’t yours, let her report it. If the cops come knocking, just explain your side. There's really not much you can do to prove you didn’t hack anything, she needs to show the proof. It's all about her making wild accusations, not you.
