Hey everyone! I'm trying to set up a portable system where I can connect a 3.5-inch USB screen to a webcam powered by its own power bank. My goal is to view the camera feed directly on the screen, without needing a PC. I'm not entirely sure what I should be looking for or how to achieve this with the screen I currently have. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, you can't directly connect a USB screen to a webcam since webcams send a USB data stream that requires a computer to decode. If you had a camera with an HDMI output, you might have a better chance of connecting it directly to your screen. Just something to keep in mind!
Just a heads up, if you're going for a self-contained setup with a camera and a display, make sure your camera can actually interface with that USB screen. Not all USB displays work with webcams, since they often need a video input that webcams don’t provide. You might want to consider other portable display options too!

Oh, I see! I was hoping the USB screen would work. So, I guess I need to look for a different type of camera that supports HDMI.
