I have a large Acer gaming PC that really heats up my room, turning it into a sauna after about 30 minutes of gaming. Unfortunately, my air conditioning isn't helping much since the thermostat is located in another room. In winter, I could just open a window for ventilation, but with summer in full swing, that's not an option. I'm considering getting a standalone air conditioning unit which vents heat out my door, since my window won't work for any standard setup. I'm looking for other ideas or solutions to keep my room cool while gaming. Any suggestions?

In my home office, I have a ceiling fan plus a small desk fan that blows the warm air out. I also use a vent booster to help pull in cooler air from the vents. It really helps keep the temperature down.
If you’re up for it, try undervolting your CPU and GPU. It can really help reduce heat output. And don’t forget to cap your FPS since running above your monitor’s refresh can generate unnecessary heat.
Consider relocating your gaming rig to another room and run USB or HDMI cables back to your gaming setup. This way, you don’t have to deal with the heat in your room any longer.
Using a box fan can help circulate air in and out of the room, and it’s great for cooling. As for your PC, if it’s consuming a lot of power, maybe look at enhancing the efficiency of your components. An air conditioning unit venting out the door might not be as effective as you'd hope. Are your windows completely sealed, or do they open at all? There are some designs that work with slightly opened windows.
The best way to tackle this is really to decentralize the heat source. If moving air out with fans doesn’t work, consider relocating your PC to a different room entirely.
