How can I create a new partition on Windows 11 for dual booting?

I'm trying to set up a dual boot with Bazzite on my laptop, but Windows 11 is limiting me to creating a partition no larger than 9000MB. I've got around 726GB of free space available. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and how did you fix it?

Also, make sure you mention what distro you’re using, your hardware details, and any specific error messages you get when seeking help. This info can really help others diagnose the problem!

First things first, make sure you actually have more than 9000MB of unallocated space. Check the Disk Manager to see how your disk looks. If you have the space and it's still not working, there are some things that can cause this. Sometimes, Windows restricts how much you can shrink a partition due to 'unmovable' files. You might want to consider using third-party partitioning tools or a Linux live USB to resize your partitions. Just remember to back up your data first, as resizing can sometimes lead to data loss.
