How can I create a typing program for traditional Japanese sheet music?

I'm a composer who writes traditional Japanese sheet music, and I've been using Photoshop to drag around tons of symbols for hours. I want to simplify this process by creating a program that builds the pages for me, where I just have to input which symbols go where. I'm planning to use Python since it's easy enough for me to learn. Does anyone know of a good YouTube tutorial to help me get started with this?

Your sheet music looks interesting! What does it typically look like? Do you have any examples? I’d love to see!

Have you looked into existing sheet music software? It might save you some time. But what exactly do you want your program to do? Would you prefer typing in coordinates or having a drag-and-drop feature?

You might want to check out LilyPond. It's designed for typesetting sheet music and has customization options through Lisp, but I'm not sure how well it handles traditional Japanese notation. Just a thought!
