I'm in the process of building my first PC and I didn't realize how high RAM prices were when I made my initial commitments. I've already ordered my CPU, GPU, motherboard (MSI X870E Carbon WiFi), and a 4TB SSD. Now, I'm looking for ways to save some money in the remaining parts of my build without losing too much performance. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Consider switching to a B850 motherboard. It offers similar gaming performance as the X870E but at a better price point. You could save some good cash this way!
For sure! Just remember, as long as your motherboard works, you should be good.
If you're looking to save, I recommend returning the CPU and motherboard for a B850 Gaming Pro and perhaps consider the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. You can check out some budget-friendly cooling and RAM too, which can keep your overall costs down without sacrificing performance. I found this part list that might help!
I totally see the value in that approach, but returning parts can be a hassle, especially if you're working offshore like me.
Yeah, it can be tough when time is limited. It's often worth it to stick with what you have and optimize later.

I get that. I actually ended up paying $300 for my motherboard, so at least you got a good deal!
