How Can I Cut Costs on My First PC Build?

I'm building my first gaming PC and would love some advice on where I can save money. Here's my current build: [PCPartPicker Build Link](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/s9NFQd). I was considering adding some extra fans to the top of the case, but I'm not sure what else I might need. Do I need any special mounting hardware for the CPU cooler? Also, about internet setup, is it just plug-and-play with my Ethernet cable, or do I need to install any drivers? I've updated my power supply to a MONTECH II 850W since then. Are there better options for SSD and RAM that could save me cash? What might be worth waiting on? Lastly, what's a solid motherboard recommendation? I've heard there are some issues with the one I selected.

You shouldn't need to buy extra thermal paste; most coolers come with it. If you can hold off on buying RAM, that might help since prices should drop eventually. For your internet, if you just plug in the Ethernet, it should connect without any fuss!

Thanks for the tips! But why are RAM prices so high right now? What would be a fair price for 2x16GB?
