I'm gearing up to build my PC but am really concerned about the skyrocketing prices of RAM. I'm considering my options, specifically whether I should go for 16GB or maybe look at different timings like CL36 instead of CL30. What's the best way to save some money here while still getting decent performance? Any tips or alternatives would be appreciated!

Check out prices for single sticks versus kits on sites like PCPartPicker. If you're also upgrading your SSD, keep that in mind too as those prices vary.
Honestly, I think 32GB is a must these days. You can definitely experiment with lower CAS latencies too, maybe look at options like CL38. It really helps with the overall performance.

I noticed that some brands offer 48 and 96 increments which actually turn out cheaper when on sale. I managed to snag 48GB for around $200, just by keeping an eye on deals!
