I've been trying to delete the Opera Software folder from my AppData, but nothing seems to work. I've followed tons of tutorials and used tools like Revo Uninstaller and LockHunter, but they haven't helped. I've tried PowerShell, CMD, booting into safe mode, and even attempted to reclaim ownership of the folder. The folder first appeared after some nasty malware got onto my system, and I've already cleaned up a lot of stuff with Malwarebytes and Hitman Pro. However, that folder just won't go away. I don't even use Opera—only Firefox and Chrome. I really need some serious help to get rid of this issue!

Trying to clean up a malware mess can be such a hassle! If you're on Windows 11, you might want to format the drive eventually if things get too messy. But for now, just focus on backing up your important files. It's a pain waiting for backups, especially with 3TB of data!
Hey! What version of Windows are you using? Have you thought about reinstalling Opera just to uninstall it properly afterward? Sometimes doing that helps clear out the leftover files.
