How Can I Diagnose a BSOD Caused by ‘System Service Exception’?

I've been experiencing a 'System Service Exception' BSOD while playing Borderlands 4 on my high-spec PC, which has an i7-14700K processor, a Gigabyte 4080 GPU, and 64GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM. This is the second crash since my fresh installation of Windows 11 last week, and I'm kinda at a loss on how to interpret the BlueScreenView data I've pulled up. Can anyone provide guidance on what to look for or how to troubleshoot this issue?

To start diagnosing the BSOD, it's really important to check for dump files, which are basically crash logs. If you can boot into Windows normally or through Safe Mode, look for dump files in C:WindowsMinidump. If you find any, zip them up and upload them to a file sharing site like MediaFire or Catbox.moe. This will give us a better look at what's causing the crash!

Good call! Dump files are key here. Make sure you get multiple ones if you can; that way we can see if there's a pattern.

I checked out your dump file, and it looks like the crash was caused by Microsoft Edge (msedge.exe) interacting with a driver related to Named Pipe File System (Npfs). This can happen for a few reasons, especially if there's a bug in the browser or a miscommunication with the driver. You might want to consider updating Edge and your drivers to see if that resolves the issue!
