I'm trying to figure out how to disable YouTube Shorts on my Android TV. My 10-year-old sister tends to scroll through them quite often, and I'm worried about her encountering content that's not age-appropriate. I won't always be around to supervise her viewing, so I'm looking for a way to block or disable these Shorts. Just to clarify, using a browser with extensions isn't an option for me. Any suggestions?

You might want to check out your TV's parental controls. If you provide the model, I can assist you further. Generally, there are options to restrict app usage, but I’m not sure if you can specifically disable Shorts.

I have a Samsung TV 55'' OLED S90D 4K with Tizen OS. I heard parental controls mainly restrict apps. Is there any way to just get rid of Shorts?
