How can I disassociate a misleading name from my phone number?

Hey everyone! I'm really stressed out about an issue I'm having with my phone number. A while back, I bought the domain LaserTorino.it and created a Gmail account linked to it, along with my phone number. Now, whenever I call someone who doesn't have my number saved, my caller ID shows up as "LaserTorino," which is super misleading and unprofessional, especially since I work for a different company now. It's causing problems with clients who think they're getting spam or the wrong number when I call.

Since it's such a hassle, I suggest contacting your phone carrier to see if they can assist you in updating the caller ID. In the meantime, if it gets too damaging for your work, changing your number might be the best long-term fix.

It's definitely frustrating to have a wrong name linked to your number. Besides Hiya, you might also want to try registering with Truecaller to present your own name on caller ID. Seems like there are various services out there—could be worth a shot!

You might want to reach out to Google support about this since your caller ID info could be tied to the wrong service. Alternatively, getting a new phone number could be a straightforward solution if it’s really causing major issues for you.

Have you considered using a separate business number for work calls? Services like Google Voice could help with that, allowing you to keep your personal and professional lines separate. I know you're based in Italy, so check what's available in your area.
