Hey everyone! I chose Ubuntu for my OS, and I'm thrilled to say my important data and pictures are safe. Big thanks to all the awesome redditors who supported me in my last post!

Now, I'm looking to expand my knowledge of Linux. I want to learn the basic commands, explore what I can do in the terminal, and how to customize my theme, among other things. I primarily use ChatGPT for assistance, but I'd love any recommendations for blogs or YouTube channels that can help me out. I really need some guidance!

You can grab a free eBook called 'The Linux Command Line' at linuxcommand.org. It’s really helpful for learning basic commands and making your way around the terminal.

There's a great resources page on the wiki that you should explore. Also, make sure to take regular backups and try things out in a virtual machine before executing commands! It’s a good habit to understand each command thoroughly before hitting Enter.

If you want to get comfortable with the terminal, try doing tasks you usually do through the GUI directly in the terminal. For example, practice updating your system, creating files and folders, moving things around, and navigating the filesystem.
