I've been trying to enable the FN lock feature on my new laptop for a couple of days now, and nothing seems to work. I've tried several shortcuts, like FN + Esc, which only disables the touchpad, and FN + Caps Lock, Num Lock, and Shift do nothing at all. I also checked the BIOS settings, but I couldn't find any option to toggle 'action' or 'hot keys'. My laptop runs on Windows 11 Home, version 24H2, OS build 26100.1742, and has an Intel Celeron N5095 processor running at 2.00GHz. Any help would be appreciated!

It might be something specific to your laptop. Some models have a BIOS setting that allows you to switch how the function keys work. For instance, newer HP laptops sometimes have a little light in the function key to indicate if it's locked. Also, ensure all your drivers are up to date by checking the manufacturer's website.
Could you let us know the model of your laptop? Some models don't support FN lock at all, so that could be a factor here.
What brand is your laptop? Each brand has its own settings and options for FN lock. Just knowing the processor and version of Windows doesn't really help with this one.
Have you tried posting a picture of your keyboard? It might help diagnose the issue better.
