I'm trying to get Grand Theft Auto V to run on my dedicated GPU since the game is currently only recognizing my integrated graphics for some reason. I've set the dedicated GPU in the Nvidia Control Panel, but nothing seems to change. I've also checked the graphics settings in Windows; it still only shows the integrated GPU as an option. Unfortunately, I can't disable the integrated GPU in the BIOS because the option is grayed out, and switching it in-game isn't an option either. I've tried numerous solutions, but I'm at a loss. Is there something I'm missing?

First off, double-check where your monitor is plugged in. If it’s connected to the motherboard, the system will prioritize the integrated GPU. For laptops, this usually isn’t applicable, but it's good to ensure you're utilizing the dedicated graphics port if your laptop has one. Also, setting your power settings to 'Performance' might help with prioritizing the GPU during gaming.
Make sure that you are indeed running Windows 11 since some users have had better luck with certain settings on Windows 10. Also, if you are using any game optimization software, that might be overriding your GPU settings. Check to see if it might be causing any conflicts.
If the BIOS won't allow you to disable the integrated GPU, it’s likely due to your laptop manufacturer's settings. You might want to ensure that your Nvidia drivers are fully updated. Sometimes, using the latest drivers can resolve recognition issues. Additionally, consider checking your laptop's display settings in Windows to see if there are any options for selecting the preferred GPU.
